Play “Toppletree”
Do you like to build things? If you do, then this new game is for you! Invented by Mathew Lazenby, Toppletree involves building a tree up with its coloured branches before it topples over. Two to four people can play at one time.
It took six years from the time Mathew came up with the idea to finally being able to sell it. Along the way, he tested the game with his friends and family, and used his kitchen as a workshop! Mathew is a product designer from New Zealand. He says, “I plan to keep inventing; I have a number of undeveloped ideas which I hope to continue working on.” The game is not available in North American, but kids in Britain may be asking their parents for it soon since it will be featured on the cover of a mail order toy catalogue.

She was the publisher and creative director at the children’s book publishing company, Kids Can Press.
